Before we got back on our bikes, my wife got stung, and boy did it swell. It did little to deter from the enjoyment we got from riding out in the open. It also was fun to be with friends. We were invited to cruise with two other couples. They really cruised in luxury on two Honda Goldwings. Riding together was great because we can now look back and reminisce with them and relive the experience. I need to find my own little biker gang and take more cruises.

Longest Cruise
I recently had the chance to take a motorcycle cruise up East Canyon. I was given the opportunity to ride on a big luxurious Harley Davidson. At idle the motorcycle rattled us to death, but once we started to move it smoothed right out. This trip was the longest trip my wife and I had taken together. It was a lovely day and the colors in the canyon were beautiful. We stopped just outside of Morgan at Taggart's for a bite to eat. The restaurant was exceptionally good.

Motorcycle Extras
I cannot believe how much it costs to add a little something extra to your motorcycle. You would think everything you buy for you motorcycle is gold plated. I have thought about adding a few extras to my bike. The one thing I really thought would be nice for my passengers would be a sissy bar (back rest). It of course can come in a few different options, but either way it is expensive. All in all I'm looking at around a 150.00 bucks for a few pieces of metal and a little padding. Thanks but no thanks. I was talking to the previous owner of my bike and the mirrors he put on the bike cost a 110.00 bucks. I like them, but I don't know if I like them that much to replace them if they ever get broken. My advice to those looking to buy a motorcycle would be to get exactly what you want in the beginning, because if you want to do it later I think it will cost you more.
This would have to be the biggest downfall to my motorcycle. Things for a car are so cheap in comparison. I guess the price is about supply and demand. There are a lot fewer bikes than cars, so I guess the production of extra parts is more. I guess there is little I can do about it, because no matter where I go to look for parts the prices vary very little. Its a good thing I don't need anything, and enough sense not to waste my money on a want more than a need.
