Shaft Driven

On my motorcycle I have a drive shaft. This differs from the original form of using a chain to propel the motorcycle forward. The Advantage of a drive shaft compared to the standard chain is it requires no maintenance. A chain requires attention from time to time to ensure that it is good and tight, and that the links are all securely fastened to one another. The slack in a chain also creates a slight lag in the response time, while the drive shaft responses immediately. The immediate response can be a little rattling at first, and surprising. I love the drive shaft and prefer it over the traditional chain. The only thing I like about the chain is the look it gives to a motorcycle, but I can live with the look. Looking at a shaft driven you wonder how goes without a chain and that illusion also looks pretty cool.
