Fuel Injection
My motorcycle is fuel injected. I'm sure fuel injection for a motorcycle isn't new or to uncommon, but it isn't standard on all motorcycles. For some reason there are still those who would prefer a carburated motorcycle. Fuel injection seems to be the wiser choice, if you ask me. Reasons I believe that fuel injection is better than the standard carburetor system are the same reasons cars are fuel injected; better gas mileage (generally), more responsive with the gas pedal, power, never needing to pump the gas pedal to start the car, and never flooding the carburetor. I think why some like the traditional carburetor system is the way the bike sounds. It can cause a bike to rumble and sound a little meaner, than a fuel injected one. Fuel injection is the way to go if you ask me.

Performance is where the Fuel Injection is lacking. The drag bikes are built with a separate carb for each piston. I'm not sure what makes the carbs produce more power. Perhaps it is the amount of fuel that can be pumped in instead of sprayed in through the injectors. I agree that the gas mileage goes in the tank, (no pun intended) with a carb system.
